Times are tough but the band's swingin' and the music's hot and you can help to do some good!
I live in Prince William County Virginia: home of some of the most disturbing economic and social turmoil I've ever seen. Business' have been shuttered; jobs have vanished; homes are being repossessed; families are gone and the streets are empty and mean. In this dark hour, with the wolves howling at the door: let's shine a light!
That's where you: the folks among us who see our current situation as unacceptable and want to make a difference, come in.
Together we are the light.
We've elected to sponsor local charitable service organizations who make a difference in our community: the Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire Department, SERVE, and Habitat for Humanity.
We're throwing a benefit concert in their honor and we're callin' it "The Dreaming Will Continue Until Reality Improves".
The thought is: if you would donate to them anyway, why not throw a party for you?
Why not make it a big deal and have some fun while raising money for these organization's local out-reach?
Just to make it perfectly clear: the band is donating their talent; Steve Cramer is donating his theater and others are donating their expertise in finance, sound & lighting reinforcement and event management to pull this off: no one's getting paid a penny.
All of the proceeds will go to these local charities.
Let's keep our money here where it can make a difference.
